Recruiting
While DVMS enjoys one of the lowest teacher and staff turnover rates, the school continues to recruit qualified teachers and staff to add to its current faculty. Recent hirings include qualified applicants from St. Mary's, Diablo Valley College and Montesorri training centers in the area. If you would like to apply, please send a resume to office@dvms.org. Fundraising
DVMS is a non-profit 501(c)3 corporation. As such, the school is 100% dependent on tuition, fees and fundraising. DVMS will conduct various fundraising events throughout the year including Octoberfest, Hearts and Crafts Fair, and Parent's social. Donations of money and items to be auctioned are always welcome. In addition, throughout the year, DVMS will sell wrapping paper and gifts receiving 50% of the profit of all items sold. Volunteer
DVMS has many positions open that are not only personally rewarding, but also fun. Positions include room parents, various committees like fundraising, marketing or finance, and Board of Directors positions. Your time is the greatest gift of all. We urge you to get involved. Parent's Club
The Parent's Club is set up to foster teacher appreciation and to sponsor school social events and parent education nights. All parents are members of the Club and attendance at Parent's Club meetings and events is encouraged.
