From its inception when interested parents actually started our school, parent involvement has been valued at DVMS. Parents’ interest and engagement send children a positive message both about school and the importance of community participation.
There are many opportunities to become involved in our school community. You can serve as a room parent, drive on field trips, help with specific class projects, serve on a committee, organize an event, attend school events, serve as a Parents Club Officer or join the DVMS Board of Directors. If you are not sure where to start come to the office and we will help you make connections.
