Our Preschool-Kindergarten Teachers

We are proud of our established and experienced staff. They are committed to providing the highest level of education and care to meet the developmental needs of each child enrolled in our programs.

Head teachers at DVMS are Montessori certified and trained to teach according to the Montessori philosophy and method. Each teacher brings his or her own wealth of knowledge and experience to the classroom to provide a standardized, yet personal and unique learning experience.

Assistant teachers are also dedicated to the field of early childhood education. They are required to have a minimum of 12 early childhood units, but are encouraged to further their understanding of the children’s needs by continuing their education. We are fortunate that many of our assistants are trained Montessori teachers which provides for more depth of experience in our classrooms.

Our staff participates in twice yearly in-service training and is encouraged to take advantage of Montessori Conferences or local workshops dedicated to the development of early childhood educators.
