Kylee Koch – Preschool/Kindergarten (Head Teacher)

Kylee is a Bay Area native and proud to be a teacher at DVMS. She started her career working with children as a city-certified babysitter, and continued to work with children as a tennis Instructor through her mid-twenties. Kylee earned her B.A in Psychology from Sonoma State, focusing on the study of self-actualization. She earned her Montessori Early Childhood Credential at Saint Mary’s of California (SMC), and then completed her M.A in Montessori, connecting gross motor skills with traditional Montessori math materials. Kylee’s passions include painting, dance, nature, and continuing her Montessori education.
Kylee loves making her classroom feel like a family!

Vivien Louie –Preschool/Kindergarten (Assistant Teacher)

Vivien moved to the United States in 2010 after earning her Bachelor’s degree in China. She has worked with children ever since, starting out by teaching them Mandarin. Vivien also received a secondary Associate’s degree in Early Childhood Development at Merritt College, and worked at the Montessori level until having her children. Vivien’s two children also attend DVMS. When she’s not teaching, Vivien loves cooking, reading, and traveling.

Deepa Medikonda –Preschool/Kindergarten (Assistant Teacher)

Deepa has a Bachelor’s degree in Pharmaceutical studies and worked in that field before she changed her career path to Early Childhood Education. After completing all the required credentials, she now holds an Associate Teaching Certification at that level. Deepa enjoys engaging with children and has been teaching in preschools for more than 18 years. Deepa likes to help kids nurture their natural given skills in learning and development, in order to reach their complete potential. She has a son and two daughters. Deepa also enjoys interior decorating, relaxing by watching TV, and spending time with family.

Rylee Heinz–Preschool/Kindergarten (Assistant Teacher)

Rylee graduated from Sonoma State in 2020 with a Bachelors degree in Psychology, and a minor in Early Childhood Studies. She has since completed a Post- Baccalaureate in Communication Disorders and is in the process of applying to Speech and Language Pathology Masters programs! She has been working with children since high school and for the past 4 years has been a Nanny for families who have children on the Autism spectrum. In her downtime she enjoys many hobbies, with her favorite being aerial arts!
